It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Good for Girls Initiative is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. With a variety of active projects and a large volunteer staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals.

GINA ELMAZI
PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Originally from New Jersey, Gina has been a native to Port Orange since the age of 12 and even went on to attend and graduate from UCF. In 2018 she started the Volusia County Oopsie Project with the belief that every young woman should have access to feminine hygiene products in a moment's notice, because after all, we've all been there!

In her personal life, she runs her full-time business, Social Media Advertising Corporation, and spends time with her husband (married since 2006) and two kids (Bella and Vincent). Gina is making quite the impact in our communities.
SAMANTHA TRIBBLE
VICE PRESIDENT
Born and raised in Florida, this local went on to attend Stetson University from Atlantic's Law & Government Academy but it was her love of photography that helped direct her career path.
As co-owner of Lunar Studio, her main focus is specializing in boudoir, maternity, and headshots/branding. Samantha's goal is to provide a luxury, empowering experience to all of her clients and she has a true passion for community outreach. In her spare time, she loves cuddling up with her fur babies, reading, and traveling.
Samantha has made quite the impact with this project and her vision of where Good for Girls Initiative will go is inspiring.
MELISSA POWERS
SECRETARY
Melissa answered an ad, of sorts, seeking a Virtual Assistant opportunity for our organization. She did such a fantastic job that the Board enthusiastically invited her to join the Oopsie team!

Professionally, Melissa is a Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of A Hand in Health Massage. She helps bodies of all types achieve optimal health by addressing root causes of pain patterns. Melissa is passionate about helping in the community. She joined Good for Girls Initiative to help provide a resource to girls that she would have liked to see during her own school days.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She also loves boating adventures in the summertime!
CHANDLER SHEA VOGLER
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Meet our Chief Marketing Officer, Chandler Vogler. Chandler was born and raised North Carolina and moved to the area in 2022. She studied Communications with minors in Public Relations and Journalism at UNC Charlotte, which led her to starting her own marketing business in 2021! She loves spending time outdoors and traveling, especially if her two pups, Todd & George, get to tag along. Chandler joined Good for Girls Initiative in 2023 because of its unique mission and amazing community of volunteers who share the same passion for helping others.
KIRSTYN SEWARD
TREASURER
Kirstyn Seward, our treasurer was born and raised in Northern California. She moved to Volusia County in the summer of 2014. She’s a dedicated individual who wears many hats in her community. As the owner of Seward accounting & tax and other local businesses, she has proven herself to be a successful entrepreneur. Alongside her professional endeavors,
Kirstyn is a loving mother to four daughters and a devoted wife.
What sets Kirstyn apart is her unwavering commitment to supporting the community. She actively participates in various community initiatives and takes pride in giving back. One of her passions lies in the Oopsie project, where she wholeheartedly supports its mission to create positive change and make a difference in women and children’s lives.
CAROLYN DENI
REPRESENTATIVE SPEAKER
Carolyn is the Volunteer Representative Speaker of Good for Girls Initiative. She was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1992. She married her one and only in 1968. Carolyn is our president, Gina's, mom!
Carolyn enjoys singing and has been part of the Sweet Adeline's Barbershop Singing Organization. She has also won numerous awards for public speaking.
Carolyn owns The Singing Seamstress and has been sewing for over 60 years! In her free time, she enjoys taking her grandchildren shopping and spoiling them to pieces. She also loves spending time with her friends at local restaurants and traveling everywhere from St. Augustine to Alaska.
