OUR STORY
It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Good for Girls Initiative is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. With a variety of active projects and a large volunteer staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals.
Since our founding in 2018, we have been proud to witness how our activities have benefitted the Volusia County community and beyond. Want to take part? Contribute to our work by donating, sponsoring, or volunteering today.

Good for Girls Initiative is based in Central Florida.
GINA ELMAZI
PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Have you met Gina?? Originally from New Jersey, Gina has been a native to Port Orange since the age of 12. In 2018 she started her own business, Social Media Advertising Corp (S.M.A.C.!) to help local, small businesses bridge the gap between their company and their target customers. She prides herself on being the affordable option for those who do not have the budget to spend thousands of dollars a month on marketing. That same year, she also started the Volusia County Oopsie Project™ with the belief that every young woman should have access to feminine hygiene products in a moment's notice, because after all, we've all been there! In her personal life she spends time with her husband (married since 2006) and two kids, Bella and Vincent. She loves spending time outdoors and traveling anywhere! Gina is making quite the impact in our communities.
